Fortunately the surface had sufficient strength to resist the rest of his body corporate, although he might not have felt the benefit of this at the time.

Fortunately a member of the bar staff was close enough to be able to assist our man out of his painful predicament.

In this photo you can clearly see that it was just a little more than a collapsed drain!
