The Hidden Secret of the Hawk & Buckle

This is the photograph taken with the aid of flash through the small hole the following day. You can clearly see the reflections of the flash as pinpoints of light around the edge of the water.

Our best estimate for the last exposure of this well is based on the clean lead pipe on the left which may have been introduced when the bottle store extension was built around 1935.
